Elected by and working for you! Each Member has a vote in deciding the volunteers serving on their Board of Directors. The Boards responsibility is to direct and guide our long-term planning, oversee, and ensure your credit union is financially sound, safe, secure, and always in compliance.
They work hand in hand with the CEO and staff to meet our Members needs and improve their financial quality of life. Our Board of Directors could be your co-worker or neighbor right here in Daviess County!
If you would like to be more involved with Audubon Federal and have a strong desire to see us grow and succeed, we encourage you to apply for a position on a Committee or on the Board of Directors in January as we prepare to elect new volunteers for our Board before term limits are up.

How does AFCU help you thrive financially?
Besides having a Certified Financial Counselor on staff to assist our Members who want options to bankruptcy or debt being sold off to collection agencies, we’re here to help you develop a plan in getting out of debt in a manner that will improve your credit history and not destroy it for ten or more years.
We’re here to educate you and assist in developing a budget, so as to avoid getting into unnecessary debt for things.
Your first step is to review your credit report at freecreditreport.com, and we mean to go over it with a fine-tooth comb, not glance at it! Your financial security may depend on this! (We hope you never experience what we mean by this.)
In April of 2026 we worked with Dave Ramsey’s team to be able to offer our Members an opportunity to enroll in Dave’s Financial Peace University at our expense! All our Members need do is pick up their workbook here at our branch, invest $79.90 into themselves for this, and once they have completed the 9 courses, AFCU will reimburse that $79.90 investment. Just that simple with up to a year to complete the course.
